It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin 'Amr, who attributed it to the Messenger of Allah: There is no person who kills a small bird or anything larger, for no just reason, but Allah will ask him about it. It was said: O Messenger of Allah, what does 'just reason mean? He said: That you slaughters it and eat it, and o not cut off its head and throw it aside,

عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ
نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جس نے کسی گوریا، یا اس سے چھوٹی کسی چڑیا کو بلا وجہ مارا تو اللہ تعالیٰ قیامت کے دن اس سلسلے میں سوال کرے گا“، عرض کیا گیا: اللہ کے رسول! تو اس کا صحیح طریقہ کیا ہے؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ”اس کا صحیح طریقہ یہ ہے کہ وہ اسے ذبح کر کے کھائے اور اس کا سر کاٹ کر یوں ہی نہ پھینک دے“۔
It was narrated that 'Amr bin Sharid said: I heard Sharid say: 'I herd the Messenger of Allah say: Whoever kills a small bird for no reason, it will beseech Allah on the Day of Resurrection saying: O Lord, so and so killed me for no reason. And he did not kill me for any beneficial purpose. '

شرید رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا: ”جس نے بلا وجہ کوئی گوریا ماری تو وہ قیامت کے دن اللہ تعالیٰ کے سامنے چلائے گی اور کہے گی: اے میرے رب! فلاں نے مجھے بلا وجہ مارا مجھے کسی فائدے کے لیے نہیں مارا“۔
It was narrated from 'Amr bin Shu'aib, from his father, from his father Muhammad bin 'Abdullah bin 'Amr - or on one occasion he said: from his father, form his grandfather - the on the Day of Kahaibar, the Messenger of Allah forbade the flesh of domesticated donkeys and of al-Jallalah (animals that eat dung), and (he forbade) riding them and eating their mat.

عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے خیبر کے دن پالتو گدھوں کے گوشت سے اور «جلالہ» پر سواری کرنے اور اس کا گوشت کھانے سے منع فرمایا۔
It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said: The Messenger of Allah forbade (eating) animals that had been taken as targets, the milk of Al-Jallalah (animals that eat dung), and drinking directly from water skins.

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے «مجثمہ» ( جو جانور باندھ کر نشانہ لگا کر مار ڈلا گیا ہو ) سے، «جلالہ» ( گندگی کھانے والے جانور ) کے دودھ سے، اور مشک کے منہ سے منہ لگا کر پینے سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
