Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: A similar report was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas. The price of a shield at the time of the Messenger of Allah was estimated to be ten Dirhams.
عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے اسی جیسی روایت ہے کہ
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانے میں ڈھال کی قیمت دس درہم لگائی جاتی تھی۔
Narrated from Ayyub bin Musa: (A similar report) was narrated from Ayyub bin Musa, from 'Ata, in Mursal form.

عطاء سے مرسلاً روایت ہے۔
It was narrated that 'Ata' said: The least for which the hand of a thief is to be cut off is the price of a shield. And the price of a shield in those days was ten Dirhams. (Hasan) Abu 'Abdur-Rahman (An-Nasai) said: Ayman, the one whose narrations preceded, I do not think he was a Companion, and another Hadith has been related from him which proves what we have said:
عطاء کہتے ہیں:
کم سے کم جس میں ہاتھ کاٹا جائے گا ڈھال کی قیمت ہے، اور ڈھال کی قیمت اس وقت دس درہم تھی۔ ابوعبدالرحمٰن ( نسائی ) کہتے ہیں: ایمن جن کی حدیث ہم نے اوپر ذکر کی ہے، میں نہیں سمجھتا کہ وہ صحابی تھے، ان سے ایک حدیث اور مروی ہے جو ہمارے خیال کی تائید کرتی ہے، ( جو آگے آ رہی ہے ) ۔
It was narrated that Ka'b said: Whoever performs wudu and performs wudu, well, then prays ('Abdur-Rahman said: and prays Isha), then prays after that four Rakahs and does them well (Sawwar said: and understands what he is reciting (Sawwar said: and recites therein), they will be equivalent to (praying) Lailat Al-Qadr for him . کعب الاحبار کہتے ہیں کہ
جس نے وضو کیا اور خوب اچھی طرح وضو کیا پھر نماز ادا کی، ( عبدالرحمٰن کی روایت میں ہے، پھر نماز عشاء کی جماعت میں شریک ہوا ) ، پھر اس کے بعد چار رکعتیں رکوع اور سجدہ کے اتمام کے ساتھ اور پڑھیں، اور جو کچھ قرأت کیا اسے سمجھا بھی تو یہ سب اس کے لیے شب قدر کے مثل باعث اجر ہوں گی۔
It was narrated that Ka'b said: Whoever performs Wudu and performs Wudu well, then attends Isha prayer in congregation, then prays four similar Rakahs after that, reciting therein and bowing and prostrating perfectly, that will bring him a reward like that of (praying) Lailat Al-Qadar. (Hasan Maqtu)
کعب الاحبار کہتے ہیں کہ
جس نے وضو کیا اور اچھی طرح وضو کیا پھر عشاء جماعت کے ساتھ پڑھی، پھر اسی جیسی چار رکعتیں قرأت اور رکوع، سجدہ کے اتمام کے ساتھ پڑھیں، تو اسے شب قدر جیسا اجر ملے گا۔
It was narrated from 'Amr bin Shuaib, from his father, that his grandfather said: The price of a shield at the time of the Messenger of Allah was ten Dirhams.
عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ
ڈھال کی قیمت رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانے میں دس درہم تھی۔
It was narrated from 'Amr bin Shuaib, from his father, that his grandfather said: The Messenger of Allah was asked: 'For how much is the hand (of the thief) to be cut off?' He said: 'The hand (of the thief) is not to be cut off for (stealing) fruit on the tree, but if (the fruit) has been taken to the place where it is stored to dry, then the (thief's) hand is to be cut off (if what is stolen is equivalent to) the price of a shield. The (thief's) hand is not to be cut off for a sheep (stolen) from the grazing land, but if it had been put in the pen, then the (thief's) hand is to be cut off (if what is stolen is equivalent to) the price of a shield. '
عبداللہ بن عمرو بن عاص رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھا گیا: ہاتھ کتنے میں کاٹا جائے گا؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ”درخت پر لگے پھل میں نہیں کاٹا جائے گا، لیکن جب وہ کھلیان میں پہنچا دیا جائے تو ڈھال کی قیمت میں ہاتھ کاٹا جائے گا، اور نہ پہاڑ پر چرنے والے جانوروں میں کاٹا جائے گا البتہ جب وہ اپنے رہنے کی جگہ میں آ جائیں تو ڈھال کی قیمت میں کاٹا جائے گا“ ۱؎۔
It was narrated from 'Amr bin Shuaib, from his father, that his grandfather 'Abdullah bin 'Amr, that the Messenger of Allah wsa asked about fruit on the tree. He said: Whatever a needy person takes without putting any in his pocket (and taking it away), there is no penalty on him. But whoever takes anything away, he must pay a penalty of twice its value, and be punished. Whoever steals something after it has been stored properly, and its value is equal to that of a shield, his hand must be cut off. Whoever steals something worth less than that, he must pay a penalty of twice its value and be punished.
عبداللہ بن عمرو بن العاص رضی اللہ عنہما روایت کرتے ہیں کہ
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے درخت پر لٹکے ہوئے پھلوں کے متعلق سوال کیا گیا تو آپ نے فرمایا: ”جس ضرورت مند نے اسے کھا لیا اور جمع کر کے نہیں رکھا تو اس پر کوئی گناہ نہیں اور جو اس میں سے کچھ لے جائے تو اس پر اس کا دوگنا تاوان اور سزا ہے، اور جو اسے کھلیان میں جمع کیے جانے کے بعد چرائے اور وہ ڈھال کی قیمت کو پہنچ رہا ہو تو پھر اس کا ہاتھ کاٹا جائے گا“۔
It was narrated from 'Amr bin Shuaib, from his father, that his grandfather 'Abdullah bin 'Amr, that a man from Muzainah came to the Messenger of Allah and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what do you think about a sheep stolen from the pasture? He said: (The thief must pay) double and be punished. There is no cutting off of the hand for (stealing) livestock, except what which has been put in the pen, if its value is equal to that of a shield, in which case the (thief's) hand is to be cut off. If its value is not equal to that of a shield, then he should pay a penalty of twice its value and be flogged as a punishment. He said: O Messenger of Allah! What do you think about fruit on the tree? He said: (The thief must pay) double and be punished. There is no cutting off of the hand for (stealing) fruit on the tree, except for that which has been stored properly if its value is equal to that of a shield, in which case the (thief's) hand is not equal to that of a shield, then he should pay a penalty of twice its value and be flogged as a punishment.
عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ
مزینہ کے ایک آدمی نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آ کر کہا: اللہ کے رسول! پہاڑ پر چرنے والے جانوروں کے ( چوری ہونے کے ) بارے میں آپ کا کیا خیال ہے؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ( اگر کوئی ایسا جانور چوری کرے ) تو اسے وہ جانور اور اس کے مثل ایک اور جانور دینا ہو گا اور سزا الگ ہو گی، لیکن چرنے والے جانوروں میں ہاتھ نہیں کاٹا جائے گا سوائے اس صورت میں کہ جانور اپنے رہنے کی جگہ میں لوٹ آئے اور اس کی قیمت ڈھال کی قیمت کے برابر ہو تو اس میں ہاتھ کاٹا جائے گا۔ اور جس کی قیمت ڈھال کی قیمت کو نہ پہنچی ہو تو اس میں دوگنا تاوان ہو گا اور سزا کے کوڑے الگ ہوں گے۔ وہ بولا: اللہ کے رسول! درخت میں لگے پھلوں کے بارے میں آپ کا کیا خیال ہے؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ( اس کی چوری کرنے پر ) وہ پھل اور اس کے ساتھ اتنا ہی اور پھل دینا ہو گا اور سزا الگ ہو گی۔ لیکن درخت پر لگے پھلوں میں ہاتھ نہیں کاٹا جائے گا سوائے اس صورت میں کہ وہ کھلیان تک لایا جا چکا ہو۔ لہٰذا جو کچھ وہ کھلیان سے لے اور اس کی قیمت ڈھال کی قیمت کے برابر ہو تو اس میں ہاتھ کاٹا جائے گا اور جس کی قیمت ڈھال کی قیمت کے برابر نہ ہو تو اس میں دوگنا تاوان ہو گا اور سزا کے کوڑے الگ ہوں گے ۱؎۔
It was narrated that Rafi bin Khadij said: I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'The hand is not to be cut off for (stealing) produce or the spadix of palm trees. '
رافع بن خدیج رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا: ”نہ پھلوں کے چرانے میں ہاتھ کاٹا جائے گا اور نہ کھجور کے گابے کے چرانے میں“۔
It was narrated that Rafi bin Khadij said: I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'The hand is not to be cut off for (stealing) produce or the spadix of palm trees. '
رافع بن خدیج رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا: ”نہ پھل میں ہاتھ کاٹا جائے گا اور نہ کھجور کے گابے کے چرانے میں“۔
It was narrated that Rafi bin Khadij said: I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'The hand is not to be cut off for (stealing) produce or the spadix of palm trees. '
رافع بن خدیج رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا: ”نہ پھل کے چرانے میں ہاتھ کاٹا جائے گا، اور نہ گابے کے چرانے میں“۔
It was narrated that Rafi bin Khadij said: I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'The hand is not to be cut off for (stealing) produce or the spadix of palm trees. '
رافع بن خدیج رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”نہ پھل کے چرانے میں اور نہ گابے کے چرانے میں ہاتھ کاٹا جائے گا“۔

رافع بن خدیج رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”نہ پھل کے چرانے میں، اور نہ ہی گابے کے چرانے میں ہاتھ کاٹا جائے گا“۔

رافع بن خدیج رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”نہ پھل چرانے میں اور نہ گابا چرانے میں ہاتھ کاٹا جائے گا“۔
Rafi bin Khadij said: I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'The hand is not be cut off for (stealing) produce or the spadix of palm trees. '
رافع بن خدیج رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا: ”نہ پھل چرانے میں اور نہ «کثر» چرانے میں ہاتھ کاٹا جائے گا“، اور «کثر» کھجور کے گابا ( خوشہ ) کو کہتے ہیں۔
It was narrated that Rafi bin Khadij said: I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'The hand is not to be cut off for (stealing) produce or the spadix of palm trees. ' (Sahih) Abu 'Abdur-Rahman (An-Nasai) said: This is a mistake, and I do not know who Abu Maimun (one of the narrators) is.
رافع بن خدیج رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”پھل چرانے میں، اور نہ ہی گابا چرانے میں ہاتھ کاٹا جائے گا“۔ ابوعبدالرحمٰن ( نسائی ) کہتے ہیں: یہ غلط ہے، میں ابومیمون کو نہیں جانتا ۱؎۔
