Chapter 38
It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin Al-'As that: The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: Whoever is killed defending his wealth and is killed unjustly, Paradise will be his.
عبداللہ بن عمرو بن عاص رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جو اپنے مال کی حفاظت کرتے ہوئے مظلوم مارا گیا اس کے لیے جنت ہے“۔
It was narrated that 'Abudllah bin 'Amr said: The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Whoever is killed defending his wealth, he is a martyr.'
عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جو اپنے مال کی حفاظت کی میں مارا گیا وہ شہید ہے“۔
It was narrated from Ibrahim bin Muhammad bin Talhah that he heard 'Abdullah bin 'Amr narrating: From the Prophet [SAW], that he said: If a person's wealth is sought without right, and he fights (to protect it) and is killed, he is a martyr.
عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ
نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”ناحق جس کا مال چھینا جائے اور وہ لڑے پھر مارا جائے وہ شہید ہے“۔ ( امام نسائی کہتے ہیں: ) یہ حدیث غلط ہے، صحیح سعیر بن خمس کی حدیث ہے ۱؎۔
It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin 'Amr said: The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Whoever is killed defending his wealth, he is a martyr.'
عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جو اپنے مال کی حفاظت کرتے ہوئے مارا گیا وہ شہید ہے“۔
It was narrated from Sa'eed bin Zaid that: The Prophet [SAW] said: Whoever is killed defending his wealth, he is a martyr. This is an abridgement of it.
سعید بن زید رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جو اپنے مال کی حفاظت کرتے ہوئے مارا گیا تو وہ شہید ہے“۔
It was narrated from Sa'eed bin Zaid that: The Prophet [SAW] said: Whoever is killed defending his wealth, he is a martyr.
سعید بن زید رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جس نے اپنے مال کی حفاظت کرتے ہوئے لڑائی کی ( اور مارا گیا ) وہ شہید ہے“۔
It was narrated from Sulaiman bin Buraidah that his father said: The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Whoever is killed defending his wealth, he is a martyr.'
بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جو اپنے مال کی حفاظت کرتے ہوئے مارا جائے وہ شہید ہے“۔
It was narrated that Abu Ja'far said: The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Whoever is killed defending his wealth and is killed unjustly, he is a martyr.'
ابو جعفر الباقر کہتے ہیں کہ
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جو شخص ظلم سے بچنے میں مارا جائے تو وہ شہید ہے“۔ ابوعبدالرحمٰن کہتے ہیں: مؤمل کی حدیث غلط ہے، صحیح عبدالرحمٰن کی حدیث ہے ۱؎۔
It was narrated from Sa'eed bin Zaid that: The Prophet [SAW] said: Whoever fights to protect his wealth and is killed, he is a martyr. Whoever fights to protect himself, he is a martyr. Whoever fights to protect his family is a martyr.
سعید بن زید رضی اللہ عنہ روایت کرتے ہیں کہ
نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جو اپنے مال کی حفاظت کے لیے لڑے اور مارا جائے تو وہ شہید ہے، جو اپنے خون کی حفاظت کے لیے لڑے ( اور مارا جائے ) تو وہ شہید ہے اور جو اپنے گھر والوں کی حفاظت کی خاطر لڑے ( اور مارا جائے ) تو وہ شہید ہے“۔
It was narrated that Sa'eed bin Zaid said: The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Whoever is killed protecting his wealth, he is a martyr. Whoever is killed protecting his family, he is a martyr. Whoever is killed protecting his religion, he is a martyr. Whoever is killed protecting himself, he is a martyr.'
سعید بن زید رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جو شخص اپنے مال کی حفاظت میں مارا جائے وہ شہید ہے، جو شخص اپنے گھر والوں کی حفاظت میں مارا جائے وہ شہید ہے، جو اپنے دین کی حفاظت میں مارا جائے تو وہ شہید ہے اور جو اپنے خون کی حفاظت میں مارا جائے وہ شہید ہے“۔
It was narrated that Abu Ja'far said: I was sitting with Suwaid bin Muqarrin, and he said: The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: Whoever is killed defending himself against injustice, he is a martyr.
ابو جعفر الباقر کہتے ہیں کہ
میں سوید بن مقرن کے پاس بیٹھا ہوا تھا تو انہوں نے کہا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جو شخص ظلم سے بچنے میں مارا جائے وہ شہید ہے“۔
It was narrated from Ibn Az-Zubair that: The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: Whoever unsheathes his sword and starts to strike the people with it, it is permissible to shed his blood.
عبداللہ بن زبیر رضی اللہ عنہما روایت کرتے ہیں کہ
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جو اپنی تلوار باہر نکال لے پھر اسے چلانا شروع کر دے تو اس کا خون رائیگاں اور بیکار ہے“ ۱؎۔
Abdur-Razzaq narrated: 'Abdur-Razzaq narrated a similar report with the same chain, but he did not attribute it to the Prophet [SAW]
عبدالرزاق بھی اس سند سے
اسی جیسی روایت کرتے ہیں، لیکن وہ اسے مرفوع نہیں کرتے ( یعنی ابن زبیر کا قول بیان کرتے ہیں ) ۔
It was narrated that Ibn Az-Zubair said: Whoever wields a weapon and starts to strike (the people) with it, it is permissible to shed his blood.
عبداللہ بن زبیر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ
جس نے ہتھیار اٹھایا اور اسے لوگوں پر چلایا تو اس کا خون رائیگاں اور بیکار ہے۔
It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin 'Umar that : The Prophet [SAW] said: Whoever bears weapons against us, he is not one of us.
عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ
نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جس نے ہم پر ہتھیار اٹھایا تو وہ ہم میں سے نہیں ہے“ ۱؎۔
It was narrated that Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri said: When 'Ali was in Yemen, he sent some gold that was still enclosed in rock to the Prophet [SAW], who distributed it among Al-Aqra' bin Habis Al-Hanzali, who belonged to Banu Mujashi', 'Uyaynah bin Badr Al-Fazari, 'Alqamah bin 'Ulathah Al-'Amiri, who belonged to Banu Kilab and Zaid Al-Khail At-Ta'I, who belonged to Banu Nabhan. The Quraish and the Ansar became angry and said: 'He gives to the chiefs of Najd and ignores us!' He said: 'I am seeking to win them over (firmly to Islam).' Then a man with sunken eyes, a bulging forehead, a thick beard and a shaven head came and said: 'O Muhammad, fear Allah!' He said: 'Who will obey Allah if I do not? He trusts me with the people of this Earth but you do not trust me.' A man among the people asked for permission to kill him, but he did not let him do that. When (the man) went away, he (the Prophet [SAW]) said: 'Among the offspring of this man there will be people who will recite the Qur'an but it will not go beyond their throats, and they will go out of Islam as an arrow goes through the target. They will kill the Muslims and leave the idol-worshippers alone. If I live to see them, I will kill them as the killing of 'Ad.'
ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
جس وقت علی رضی اللہ عنہ یمن میں تھے انہوں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس مٹی لگا ہوا سونے کا ایک ٹکڑا بھیجا۔ تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اسے اقرع بن حابس حنظلی ( جو بنی مجاشع کے ایک شخص تھے ) ، عیینہ بن بدر فزاری، علقمہ بن علاثہ عامری ( جو بنی کلاب کے ایک شخص تھے ) ، زید الخیل طائی ( جو بنی نبہان کے ایک شخص تھے ) کے درمیان تقسیم کیا، ابو سعید خدری کہتے ہیں: اس پر قریش اور انصار غصہ ہوئے اور بولے: آپ اہل نجد کے سرداروں کو دیتے ہیں اور ہمیں چھوڑ دیتے ہیں۔ آپ نے فرمایا: ”میں تو صرف ان کی تالیف قلب کر رہا ہوں“، اتنے میں ایک شخص آیا، اس کی آنکھیں بیٹھی ہوئی تھیں، گال پھولے ہوئے تھے، داڑھی گھنی تھی اور سر منڈا ہوا تھا۔ وہ بولا: محمد! اللہ سے ڈرو، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جب میں ہی نافرمانی کرنے لگا تو اللہ کی اطاعت کون کرے گا۔ مجھے اللہ تعالیٰ زمین والوں پر امین بنا رہا ہے اور تم میرا اعتبار نہیں کرتے۔ اتنے میں لوگوں میں سے ایک شخص نے اس کے قتل کی اجازت طلب کی، آپ نے اسے منع فرما دیا۔ جب وہ لوٹ گیا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”اس کے خاندان میں کچھ ایسے لوگ ہوں گے جو قرآن پڑھیں گے مگر وہ ان کے حلق کے نیچے نہ اترے گا، وہ دین سے اسی طرح نکل جائیں گے جیسے تیر شکار سے نکل جاتا ہے، وہ اہل اسلام کو قتل کریں گے اور بت پرستوں کو چھوڑ دیں گے، اگر میں انہیں پا جاؤں تو انہیں عاد کے لوگوں کی طرح قتل کروں“ ۱؎۔
It was narrated that 'Ali said: I heard the Messenger of Allah [SAW] say: 'At the end of time there will appear young people with foolish minds. Their faith will not pass through their throats, and they will go out of Islam as an arrow goes through the target. If you meet them, then kill them, for killing them will bring reward to the one who killed them on the Day of Resurrection.'
علی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا: ”آخری زمانے میں کچھ لوگ ہوں گے جو کم سن اور کم عقل ہوں گے، بات چیت میں وہ لوگوں میں سب سے اچھے ہوں گے، لیکن ان کا ایمان ان کے حلق سے نیچے نہ اترے گا، وہ دین سے اسی طرح نکل جائیں گے، جس طرح تیر شکار سے نکل جاتا ہے، لہٰذا جب تم ان کو پاؤ تو انہیں قتل کرو کیونکہ ان کے قتل کرنے والے کو قیامت کے دن اجر ملے گا“۔
it was narrated that Sharik bin Shihab said: I used to wish that I could meet a man among the Companions of the Prophet [SAW] and ask him about the Khawarij. Then I met Abu Barzah on the day of 'Id, with a number of his companions. I said to him: 'Did you hear the Messenger of Allah [SAW] mention the Khawarij?' He said: 'Yes. I heard the Messenger of Allah [SAW] with my own ears, and saw him with my own eyes. Some wealth was brought to the Messenger of Allah [SAW] and he distributed it to those on his right and on his left, but he did not give anything to those who were behind him. Then a man stood behind him and said: O Muhammad! You have not been just in your division! He was a man with black patchy (shaved) hair, wearing two white garments. So Allah's Messenger [SAW] became very angry and said: By Allah! You will not find a man after me who is more just than me. Then he said: A people will come at the end of time; as if he is one of them, reciting the Qur'an without it passing beyond their throats. They will go through Islam just as the arrow goes through the target. Their distinction will be shaving. They will not cease to appear until the last of them comes with Al-Masih Ad-Dajjal. So when you meet them, then kill them, they are the worst of created beings.
شریک بن شہاب کہتے ہیں کہ
میری خواہش تھی کہ میں صحابہ رسول میں سے کسی صحابی سے ملوں اور ان سے خوارج کے متعلق سوال کروں، تو میری ملاقات عید کے دن ابوبرزہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے ان کے شاگردوں کی جماعت میں ہوئی۔ میں نے ان سے کہا: کیا آپ نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو خوارج کا تذکرہ کرتے سنا ہے؟ کہا: ہاں، میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو اپنے کانوں سے سنا اور اپنی آنکھوں سے دیکھا، آپ کے پاس کچھ مال آیا، آپ نے اسے تقسیم کیا اور اپنے دائیں اور بائیں جانب کے لوگوں کو دے دیا اور اپنے پیچھے والوں کو کچھ نہیں دیا۔ ایک شخص آپ کے پیچھے سے کھڑا ہوا اور بولا: محمد! آپ نے تقسیم میں انصاف نہیں کیا۔ وہ ایک کالا ( سانولا ) شخص تھا، جس کے بال منڈے ہوئے تھے اور دو سفید کپڑوں میں ملبوس تھا۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سخت غضبناک ہوئے اور فرمایا: ”اللہ کی قسم! تم میرے علاوہ کوئی ایسا شخص نہیں پاؤ گے جو مجھ سے زیادہ عادل ہو“۔ پھر فرمایا: ”آخری دور میں کچھ لوگ ہوں گے ( شاید ) یہ بھی انہیں میں سے ہو گا، وہ قرآن پڑھیں گے، مگر وہ ان کی ہنسلی سے نیچے نہ اترے گا، وہ اسلام سے اسی طرح نکل جائیں گے جس طرح تیر شکار سے نکل جاتا ہے۔ ان کی علامت یہ ہے کہ وہ سر منڈائے ہوں گے ۱؎، وہ ہمیشہ پیدا ہوتے رہیں گے یہاں تک کہ ان کا آخری شخص مسیح دجال کے ساتھ نکلے گا، لہٰذا جب تم انہیں پاؤ تو قتل کر دو، وہ بد نفس اور تمام مخلوقات میں بدتر ہیں“۔ ابوعبدالرحمٰن ( نسائی ) کہتے ہیں: شریک بن شہاب مشہور نہیں ہیں ۲؎۔
Sa'd bin Abi Waqas told us that: The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: Fighting a Muslim is Kufr and defaming him is evildoing.
سعد بن ابی وقاص رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”مسلمان سے لڑنا کفر ( کا کام ) اور اسے گالی دینا فسق ہے“ ۱؎۔
It was narrated that 'Abdullah said: Defaming a Muslim is evildoing and fighting him is Kufr. (Sahih Mawquf)
عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
مسلمان کو گالی دینا فسق اور اس سے لڑنا کفر ( کا کام ) ہے۔
