It was narrated from 'Umar that: he gave someone a horse to ride in the cause of Allah, then he saw it offered for sale and wanted to buy it. The Prophet said to him: Do not think of buying back what you have given in charity.

عمر رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
انہوں نے ایک گھوڑا اللہ کی راہ میں سواری کے لیے دیا، پھر دیکھا کہ وہ گھوڑا بیچا جا رہا ہے، تو انہوں نے اسے خریدنے کا ارادہ کیا، تو نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان سے فرمایا: ”تم اپنے صدقے میں آڑے نہ آؤ“۔
It was narrated from Salim bin 'Abdullah that 'Abdullah bin 'Umar used to narrate that: 'Umar give a house in charity for the sake of Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, and he found it being offered for sale after that. He wanted to buy it, then he went to the Messenger of Allah and asked him about that. The Messenger of Allah said: Do not take back what you have given in charity.

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ
عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے ایک گھوڑا اللہ کی راہ میں صدقہ کیا، اس کے بعد انہیں معلوم ہوا کہ وہ بیچا جا رہا ہے۔ تو انہوں نے اسے خریدنے کا ارادہ کیا، وہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آئے، اور آپ سے اس بارے میں اجازت طلب کی تو آپ نے فرمایا: ”اپنا صدقہ واپس نہ لو“۔
It was narrated from Sa'eed bin Al-Musayyab: That the Messenger of Allah told 'Attab bin Usaid to estimate the (harvest of) grapes, and to pay Zakah in raisins, just as the Zakah on date palms is given in died dates.

تابعی سعید بن مسیب سے روایت ہے کہ
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے عتاب بن اسید کو ( درخت پر لگے ) انگور کا تخمینہ لگانے کا حکم دیا تاکہ اس کی زکاۃ کشمش سے ادا کی جا سکے، جیسے درخت پر لگی کھجوروں کی زکاۃ پکی کھجور سے ادا کی جاتی ہے ۱؎۔
