It was narrated that Dawud said: I asked Sa'eed: 'What is the drink that 'Umar bin Al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, regarded as permissible?' He said: 'That which has been cooked until two-third has gone and one-third is left.'
داود کہتے ہیں کہ
میں نے سعید بن المسیب سے پوچھا: وہ کون سا مشروب ہے جسے عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے حلال قرار دیا؟ وہ بولے: جو اس قدر پکایا جائے کہ اس کا دو تہائی حصہ ختم ہو جائے اور ایک تہائی باقی رہ جائے۔
It was narrated from Sa'eed bin Al-Musayyab that : Abu Ad-Darda' used to drink that of which two-third had gone and one-third was left.
سعید بن مسیب سے روایت ہے کہ
ابو الدرداء رضی اللہ عنہ ایسا مشروب پیتے جو دو تہائی جل کر ختم ہو گیا ہو اور ایک تہائی باقی رہ گیا ہو۔
It was narrated from Abu Musa Al-'Ash'ari that: He used to drink thickened grape juice that of which two-third had gone and one-third was left.
ابوموسیٰ اشعری رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ
وہ ایسا طلاء پیتے تھے جس کا دو تہائی جل کر ختم ہو گیا ہو اور ایک تہائی باقی ہو۔
It was narrated that Ya'la bin 'Ata' said: I heard Sa'eed bin Al-Musayyab say, when a Bedouin asked him about a drink that had been cooked and reduced by half: 'No, not until two-third has gone and one-third is left.'
سعید بن مسیب سے روایت ہے کہ
ایک اعرابی نے ان سے اس مشروب کے بارے میں پوچھا جو پکا کر آدھا رہ گیا ہو، انہوں نے کہا: نہیں، جب تک دو تہائی جل نہ جائے اور ایک تہائی باقی رہ جائے۔
It was narrated that Sa'eed bin Al-Musayyab said: When At-Tila' (thickened grape juice) has been cooked and reduced to one-third, then there is nothing wrong with it.
سعید بن مسیب کہتے ہیں کہ
جب طلاء جل کر ایک تہائی رہ جائے تو اسے پینے میں کوئی حرج نہیں۔
Abu Raja' said: I asked Al-Hasan about At-Tila' (thickened grape juice) that has been reduced to half. He said: 'Do not drink it.'
ابورجاء کہتے ہیں کہ
میں نے حسن ( حسن بصری ) سے اس طلاء کے بارے میں پوچھا جو جل کر نصف رہ گیا ہو، تو انہوں نے کہا: اسے مت پیو۔
It was narrated that Bushair bin Al-Muhajir said: I asked Al-Hasan about juice that has been cooked. He said: 'That which has been cooked until two-third of it has gone and one-third is left.'
بشیر بن مہاجر کہتے ہیں کہ
میں نے حسن ( حسن بصری ) سے پوچھا: شیرہ ( رس ) کس قدر پکایا جائے۔ انہوں نے کہا: اس وقت تک پکاؤ کہ اس کا دو تہائی جل جائے اور ایک تہائی باقی رہ جائے۔
It was narrated that Anas bin Sirin said: I heard Anas bin Malik say: 'The Shaitan disputed with Nuh, peace be upon him, concerning the grapevine. One said: This is for me, and the other said: This is for me. Then they agreed that Nuh would have one-third and the Shaitan would have two-thirds.'
انس بن سیرین کہتے ہیں کہ
میں نے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کو کہتے ہوئے سنا: نوح علیہ السلام سے شیطان نے انگور کے پودے کے بارے میں جھگڑا کیا، اس نے کہا: یہ میرا ہے، انہوں نے کہا: یہ میرا ہے، پھر دونوں میں صلح ہوئی اس پر کہ نوح علیہ السلام کا ایک تہائی ہے اور شیطان کا دو تہائی ۱؎۔
It was narrated that 'Abdul-Malik bin Tufail Al-Jazari said: Umar bin 'Abdul-'Aziz wrote to us (saying): 'Do not drink At-Tila' (thickened grape juice) until two-third of it are gone and one-third remains, and every intoxicant is unlawful.'
عبدالملک بن طفیل جزری کہتے ہیں کہ
عمر بن عبدالعزیز نے ہمیں لکھا: طلاء مت پیو، جب تک کہ اس کا دو تہائی جل نہ جائے اور ایک تہائی باقی نہ رہ جائے اور ہر نشہ لانے والی چیز حرام ہے۔
It was narrated that Makhul said: Every intoxicant is unlawful.
مکحول کہتے ہیں
ہر نشہ لانے والی چیز حرام ہے۔
It was narrated that Abu Thabit Ath-Tha'labi said: I was with Ibn 'Abbas when a man came to him and asked him about juice. He said: 'Drink that which is fresh.' He said: 'I cooked a drink on the fire and I am not sure about it.' He said: 'Did you drink it before you cooked it?' He said: 'No.' He said: 'Fire does not make permissible something that is forbidden.' (Sahih Mawquf)
ابوثابت ثعلبی کہتے ہیں کہ
میں ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کے پاس تھا اتنے میں ایک شخص آیا اور ان سے رس ( شیرے ) کے بارے میں پوچھا، انہوں نے کہا: جب تک تازہ ہو پیو۔ اس نے کہا: میں نے ایک مشروب کو پکایا ہے پھر بھی وہ میرے دل میں کھٹک رہا ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا: کیا تم اسے پکانے سے پہلے پیتے ہو؟ اس نے کہا: نہیں، انہوں نے کہا: آگ سے کوئی حرام چیز حلال نہیں ہو جاتی۔
Ata' said: I heard Ibn 'Abbas say: 'By Allah, fire does not make anything permissible or forbidden.' He said: Then he explained what he meant by 'it does not make permissible' as referring to what they said about At-Tila' (thickened grape juice), and he explained what he said about 'it does not make forbidden' as referring to performing Wudu' after eating something that has been touched by fire.
عطاء بیان کرتے ہیں کہ
میں نے ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کو یہ کہتے ہوئے سنا: ”اللہ کی قسم! آگ کسی ( حرام ) چیز کو حلال نہیں کرتی، اور نہ ہی کسی ( حلال ) چیز کو حرام کرتی ہے“ پھر آپ نے اپنے اس قول ”آگ کسی چیز کو حلال نہیں کرتی“ کی شرح میں یہ کہا کہ یہ رد ہے طلاء کے سلسلے میں بعض لوگوں کے قول کا ۱؎ کہ ”آگ جس کو چھولے اس سے وضو واجب ہو جاتا ہے“ ۲؎۔
It was narrated that Sa'eed bin Al-Musayyab said: Drink juice so long as it does not have any foam.
سعید بن مسیب کہتے ہیں کہ
شیرہ ( رس ) پیو، جب تک کہ اس میں جھاگ نہ آ جائے۔
It was narrated that Hisham bin 'A'idh Al-Asadi said: I asked Ibrahim about juice and he said: 'Drink it, unless it bubbles, so long as it doesn't change.'
ہشام بن عائذ اسدی کہتے ہیں کہ
میں نے ابراہیم نخعی سے شیرے ( رس ) کے بارے میں پوچھا تو انہوں نے کہا: اسے پیو، جب تک کہ ابل کر بدل جائے۔
It was narrated from 'Ata' that : He said, concerning juice: Drink it unless it is bubbling.
عطا سے شیرے (رس) کے بارے میں کہتے ہیں
پیو، جب تک اس میں جھاگ نہ آ جائے۔
It was narrated that Ash-Sha'bi said: Drink it for three days unless it bubbles.
شعبی کہتے ہیں کہ
اسے ( رس ) تین دن تک پیو سوائے اس کے کہ اس میں جھاگ آ جائے۔
It was narrated from 'Abdullah Ad-Dailami that his father Fairuz said: I came to the Messenger of Allah [SAW] and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, we have grapevines and Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, has revealed that Khamr (wine) is forbidden, so what should we do?' He said: 'Make raisins.' I said: 'What should we do with the raisins?' He said: 'Soak them in the morning and drink them in the evening, and soak them in the evening and drink them in the morning.' I said: 'Can we leave it until it gets stronger?' He said: 'Do not put it in clay vessels, rather put it in skins, for if it stays there for a long time, it will turn into vinegar.'
عبداللہ دیلمی کے والد فیروز رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا، میں نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! ہم انگور والے لوگ ہیں، اور اللہ تعالیٰ نے شراب کی حرمت نازل فرما دی ہے، اب ہم کیا کریں؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ”اسے سکھا کر منقیٰ بنا لو“۔ میں نے کہا: تب ہم منقیٰ کا کیا کریں؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ”اسے صبح کے وقت بھگوؤ دو اور شام کو پیو، اور شام کو بھگوؤ صبح کو پیو“۔ میں نے کہا: دیر تک نہ رہنے دیں یہاں تک کہ اس میں تیزی آ جائے؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ”اسے گھڑوں میں مت رکھو بلکہ چمڑے کی مشک میں رکھو اس لیے کہ اگر اس میں زیادہ دیر تک رہا تو وہ ( مشروب ) سرکہ بن جائے گا“۔
It was narrated from Ibn Al-Dailami that his father said: We said: 'O Messenger of Allah, we have grapevines; what should we do with them?' He said: 'Make raisins.' We said: 'What should we do with the raisins?' He said: 'Soak them in the morning and drink them in the evening, and soak them in the evening and drink them in the morning.' I said: 'Can we leave it until it gets stronger?' He said: 'Do not put it in clay vessels, rather put it in skins, for if it stays there for a long time, it will turn into vinegar.'
فیروز دیلمی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
ہم نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! ہمارے انگور کے باغات ہیں ہم ان کا کیا کریں؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ”ان کا منقیٰ اور کشمش بنا لو“، ہم نے عرض کیا: پھر منقے اور کشمش کا کیا کریں، آپ نے فرمایا: ”صبح کو بھگاؤ اور شام کو پی لو، اور شام کو بھگاؤ صبح کو پی لو، اور اسے مشکیزوں میں بھگاؤ، گھڑوں میں نہ بھگانا، اس لیے کہ اگر اس میں وہ ( مشروب ) دیر تک رہ گیا تو سرکہ بن جائے گا“۔
It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said: Nabidh would be made for the Messenger of Allah [SAW] and he would drink it in the morning, and on the following morning. Then on the evening before the third day, if there was anything left in the vessel, they would not drink it and it would be thrown away.
عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے لیے نبیذ تیار کی جاتی تھی، آپ اسے دوسرے دن اور تیسرے دن پیتے ۱؎، جب تیسرے دن کی شام ہوتی اور اگر اس میں سے کچھ برتن میں بچ گئی ہوتی تو اسے نہیں پیتے بلکہ بہا دیتے۔
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that: Raisins would be soaked for the Messenger of Allah [SAW] and he would drink it that day, the following day, and the day after that.
عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے لیے کشمش بھگوئی جاتی تھی، آپ اسے اس دن، دوسرے دن اور تیسرے دن تک پیتے۔
